Yes, this is our greatest area of expertise and why we have created additional services. Some spouses have no, to little, involvement in the financial affairs of the marriage. Eredita can takeover all financial responsibility so a spouse can just collect income, but not worry about the day-to-day financial operations.
Our company offers a free consultation to determine if there is a potential fit for you. After this point, we can determine if any one of the three services are applicable. If so, we begin with a small retainer that is used for any additional consultation during any of the three service offerings. If it is determined that Eredita is the right fit, then we can talk about the fee structure that is application to each phase of the process.
Each phase takes a variable amount of time, depending on the complexity of the estate. Of course, the more planning done in advance makes a consider difference in the management. Eredita offers check lists and tools to help in the planning process to streamline the estate planning and execution process.
Attorneys are typically hired to manage legal affairs. Accountants typically help with taxation and filing tax returns. Eredita is focused primarily on all aspects of any estate, from legacy planning, will/trust development, to all aspects thereafter. This is not our part-time responsibility, it our full-time job. Often times, estate owners don't realize that their designated beneificiaries, whether it is an attorney, accountant bank trust department, spouse, or eldest child, this is not their area of expertise and typically don't want to be bothered by the amount of detail required managing and estate. Eredita simplifies this process and takes this burden of responsibility away.
The best answer is interview any beneficiaries that had their eldest child manage an estate. There will be a number of issues - lack of focus, lack of time, misappropriate of funds, tarnished family relationship, month many other issues. Eredita believes that estate should be managed by an objective, third party who can take the emotion and bias out of the equation.
